NIDWAN has been conducting skill development training for women with disabilities with the objectives to enable their skills and livelihood at the local level every year. In 2020, the training was inaugurated by Mr. Narayan K.C, President of ward no. 4, Lalitpur Municipality and Ms. Pratima Gurung, President of NIDWAN on March 19th. Ms. Sumi Tamang, Ms. Ganga Chhantyal and Ms. Susmita Waiba were resource persons who provided various skills and training on making shopping bags, bangles, earrings, purses, caps, and woollen made products. The objective of the training is to promote women with disabilities to start their own small businesses and support them economically. The training was conducted for fifteen days among twenty-six participants, resource persons in a learning, inclusive and friendly environment.
