"Nothing About Us Without Us, Towards Leaving No One Behind"

Training on Disability and Human Rights Weekly Interactive Session: In collaboration with CIL Kathmandu & NIDWAN

With an aim to train on Disability, CRPD & SDG to People with Disabilities and Indigenous Peoples NIDWAN jointly organized Disability and Human Rights Training in collaboration with CIL- Kathmandu. The course has been designed with around 36 sessions from July 2020 to March 2021, particularly focusing on the broader understanding of disability rights. The session module consists of audio/visual presentation from the experts of the disability sector regarding understanding various types of disabilities, the issues, challenges, and complexities faced by different people having disabilities (during the normal condition and lockdown period), situations and measures to be taken during COVID-19 pandemic, followed by discussions.


NIDWAN works for the groups having multiple and intersecting identities and builds synergy both at the grassroots and global level collectively with various organizations and relevant stakeholders by cross-movement collaboration.
