The Network of Indigenous Women and Women with Disabilities (NIDWAN) is a vibrant, values-driven community led by young Indigenous women, girls, youth, and women with disabilities who are committed to building a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable world. At the heart of our mission is the belief that young people, especially those from marginalized communities hold the power to create real change. Through our dynamic Youth Network, we provide a platform for leadership development, intersectional advocacy, and inclusive opportunities that uplift voices often left out.
By empowering young Indigenous women and women with disabilities to become role models and campaigners, we nurture a new generation of leaders who can drive meaningful change. When they lead, entire communities benefit. NIDWAN stands beside them every step of the way supporting their growth, celebrating their voices, and helping shape a brighter future for all
