At UNFCCC-COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, National Indigenous Disabled Women Association Nepal (NIDWAN) continues its commitment to advocating for the intersection of climate change, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and Indigenous identities.
We attended a side event: Indigenous Pavilion, Blue Zone. This event will bring together experts and advocates to discuss:
✅ The disproportionate impact of climate change on Indigenous persons and women with disabilities
✅ Evidence and case studies highlighting challenges to SRHR due to environmental injustices
✅ Strategies for ensuring inclusive climate action and equitable representation in global decision-making
