After the successful completion of 20 series of ‘Discussion on Climate Change, Indigenous Youth, and Indigenous People with Disabilities in collaboration of Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) and NIDWAN Nepal, to further connect the youth towards their indigenous identity and roots a follow up 5-session virtual training was conducted to familiarize the youth on advocacy, activism, their principles, processes and scenario of the indigenous movement in the month of September 2020. The sessions were conducted by Dr. Shree Kumar Maharjan, Advisor and Indigenous Leaders Ms. Yasso Kanti Bhattachan and Mr. Krishna Bhattachan. This training was an effort towards the intergenerational transfer of knowledge and activism.
