With the support of the Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact and Minority Groups International, NIDWAN has started COVID-19 Pandemic Relief Planning and Distribution to the PWDs based on their necessities and medical requirements in the year 2020. The relief materials were organized based on the needs of the targeted people consisting of a food package, a medicinal package with assistive devices for selected people and a snacks package. NIDWAN has distributed these reliefs to People with disabilities of Province 1, 2 and Bagmati serving 300 + People with Disabilities. During the second wave in 2021 as well, in order to expand our reach, NIDWAN collaborated with Provincial focal persons and associations, organizations, municipalities and ward offices to distribute relief to Indigenous Women with Disabilities in various provinces.
